Henry’s auto service

This order started out as a simple office tee order, but gradually turned into something more. The client had a logo already and needed polos embroidered. However, they were skeptical as they had ordered some polos previously and were unhappy with the quality of both the decoration and the garment. I went over multiple items with them and found them the best material for their work. Afterwards, I had the items embroidered and ensured that the issues they had before would not repeat on these items. They also had work tees screen printed for the main crew of mechanics in a lightweight dri-fit material. Lastly, they wanted to design a T-shirt that a customer would want to purchase. I found this task particularly difficult since most clients tend not look at any merchandise from their mechanic. Car repairs are already expensive, so to add a shirt to the mix would mean the art would have to be very appealing. I played with a few ideas and ultimately came up with the idea to create a manga/comic-style illustration that would be printed across the whole front chest of the tee. Henry’s Auto's slogan is The People’s Tech. I used that to create a story displaying how Henry will always be there for the client since he is the People’s Tech.

They loved the idea, and after a few rough drafts, the design was created and approved. It was a hit, and customers were buying the tees faster than we imagined. A second order was palced and the rest was history.
